Location: Northampton
Hours: 45 hours per week (5 days out of 7)
We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked items to a high standard
- Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality across all pastry offerings
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety at all times
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
- Manage stock, minimise waste, and support ordering when required
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods
- Passion for fresh ingredients and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
