Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experience Registered POA Nurse to join the team on a Full Time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist the Pre-Operative Assessment Lead Nurse in the running of a high quality and effective pre-assessment service that provides the highest standards of care, safety and service to patients, relatives and other customers such Consultants. To be responsible for the delivery of the day-to-day provision of the pre-assessment service.
Who we're looking:
Registered Nurse with NMC registration
Significant nursing experience with some pre-assessment experience
Previous experience in a surgical environment.
Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge.
Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies
Able to demonstrate the principles of accountable practice.
Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission
Able to apply clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
