School Kitchen Assistant - Daventry

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at a local school in Daventry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping provide nutritious meals to children.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation and serving
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Wash up and manage waste disposal
Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Support the cook and catering team with daily tasks

Ideal Candidate:

Friendly, dependable, and a team player
Good communication and time management skills
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is helpful but not essential
Willingness to complete food hygiene training (if not already certified)
Enjoys working in a school environment and around children
