Staff Nurse | Wards | Regency - Macclesfield | Band 5 | Part time 25 hours a week - Fixed Term Contract 12 months

Spire Regency, Macclesfield are recruiting a Staff Nurse to join their team on the wards on a fixed term contract for 12 months

The Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield, South Cheshire opened in 1991 and has undergone extensive site modernisation creating an excellent environment for our team and patients. We offer fast access to consultations with specialists in a wide range of treatments, supported by advanced imaging and diagnostic technology.

Duties and responsibilities

• You will be working across a large ward with private ensuite rooms providing post-surgical care to patients
• Take the patient through their full hospital stay - from admittance to release
• The opportunity to grow and develop with the team and hospital
• Taking part in clinical skills training to empower you to feel confident in providing effective care for a wide variety of specialisms
• Working on a ratio of 1 nurse to 5 or 6 patients giving you the time to give complete care to your patients

Who we are looking for:

• Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions.
• Have a minimum of 1-year post-graduation experience with demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Venepuncture and ILS Training is desirable for this role.
• Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can display excellent patient care.

Working Hours: 25 hours per week on rota

Contract Type: Fixed Term 12 months
