About Us

We are a well‑established hotel located just outside Southampton, known for our warm, welcoming atmosphere and commitment to exceptional guest service. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer‑focused Waiter/Server to join our front‑of‑house team.

The Role

As a Waiter/Server, you will play an important part in delivering a great dining experience for our guests. You'll work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service, high standards, and a positive atmosphere throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests
• Take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and well‑presented dining area
• Support the team during busy periods to keep service running smoothly
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams
• Handle guest queries and feedback politely and professionally
• Follow food safety, health & safety, and company procedures

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role (preferred but not essential)
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer‑focused attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexible approach, including availability for evenings and weekends
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional manner
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
