Chef - Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £31,229.43 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Dunkeld (Live in opportunity available)

About the Role

Blue Arrow is looking for a Chef to join our clients catering team and help deliver nutritious, tasty meals for guests at our residential adventure camps. You'll work in a supportive environment, reporting to the Head Chef, and focus on preparing and cooking meals without the pressure of menu planning or sourcing ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality, nutritious meals for guests.
• Manage stock ordering and organisation.
• Monitor cost control.
• Coach and support junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene standards and allergen requirements.

This role offers a great work-life balance with minimal late nights, most Fridays or Saturdays off (especially outside peak season), and limited work over Christmas.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working in a busy kitchen, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and handling dietary requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ideally, a Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering.

Successful candidates must complete background checks which comprises of four main checks - Identity, Right to Work, Employment History/Reference checks and a Criminal Record check (unspent convictions). Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed (Enhanced DBS or PVG Children)
