Chef Ashby-de-la-Zouch

Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting experienced chefs to work across a variety of catering environments in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and the surrounding areas, including schools, care settings, business and industry sites, and other commercial kitchens.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking fresh meals to a high standard
• Supporting the day-to-day running of busy kitchens
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
• Ensuring kitchen areas remain clean, organised, and compliant
• Working effectively with kitchen teams during service
• Managing ingredients and stock appropriately
• Delivering quality food in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (within the last 3 years preferred)
• Good knowledge of food safety and allergen procedures
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own chef whites and knives preferred
• Access to transport is beneficial due to the variety of locations
