We are recruiting an experienced Chef to join a leading global contract catering company at their site near Amesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values work-life balance and wants to be part of a supportive and professional team.
🔑 Key Details
- Hourly Rate: £12.61
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, either 5:30am-2:00pm or 9:30am-6:00pm
- Weekends: Only 1 in 4 weekends required
- Overtime: Paid at the standard hourly rate for hours worked over 40
🍽️ Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food to high standards, ensuring quality and portion control
- Support the kitchen manager with stock control and ordering within budget
- Maintain up-to-date product and menu knowledge
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
✅ What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a similar environment
- NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume setting
