Salary: From £28,600 (dependent on experience)

The Role
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Pub Chef to join our friendly kitchen team. Working in a small, welcoming pub environment, you will play a key role in delivering fresh, high‑quality dishes while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, consistency, and teamwork.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on Chef who enjoys a close‑knit team, takes pride in well-executed dishes, and thrives in a busy but supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fresh, high‑quality dishes in line with menu standards
- Maintain excellent food presentation, quality, and consistency
- Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Assist with stock control, deliveries, and minimising food waste
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal or daily specials
- Work closely with the front‑of‑house team to ensure efficient service
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a similar kitchen role
- Confident working independently in a small kitchen
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Level 2 Food Safety Certification
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
