Blue Arrow is recruiting for experienced chefs to work with our clients around Birmingham and black country area.
Working mainly in contract catering.
Your role will be to:
- Assist in the daily management of the kitchen team
- Cook for up to 400 at a time
- Cook from fresh following a set menu rota
- Stock management and ordering
- Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure highest quality
- Keeping detailed records of wastage, temperature checks, stock levels
-Maintaining high standards of food and kitchen hygiene at all times.
Skills you will need:
- Food hygiene level 2 or above
- Food allergens
- Strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of current food safety regulations,
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self motivated
- Enhanced adult & child DBS dated within the last 12 months or registered on the update service
