Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join a prestigious University in Oxford. You will play a key role within a professional kitchen team, supporting the delivery of high-quality meals for students, staff, and visitors. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about fresh ingredients, seasonal menus, and high culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes across a range of service styles, including student dining, formal events, and conferences.
- Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in line with university and legal requirements.
- Assist with menu development and contribute creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Support junior staff and work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team.
- Ensure efficient stock control, ordering, and waste management.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef looking to step up.
- Demonstrates passion for fresh, quality food and attention to detail.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment with a positive and professional attitude.
- Holds relevant food safety and hygiene qualifications (Level 2 minimum).
- Is reliable, organised, and committed to high standards.
