Senior Chef de Partie - Botley - £30-32k + Tips Around £3k per Year
An experienced Senior Chef de Partie is required for this fantastic traditional country pub located in the beautiful countryside near Botley, Hampshire.
We are seeking a confident and skilled chef who is passionate about cooking fresh food and can take ownership of key sections within the kitchen. You will support the Head Chef with preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to agreed high standards. The pub has an established and supportive Head Chef who can help guide your ongoing development.
Key Information:
- Salary: £30-32k plus approx. £3k tips per year
- Hours: 4.5 days out of 7, mixed shifts
- Working Week: 45 hours per week
- Time Off: Sunday nights closed, giving a stronger work-life balance
- Location: Botley, Hampshire
- Transport: Own transport required due to location
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food preparation at all times
- Prepare fresh, quality dishes using locally sourced ingredients
- Take responsibility for preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards
- Support the kitchen team with prep and help maintain a clean and organised kitchen
- Work effectively as part of a committed kitchen brigade
Required Skills:
- Solid understanding of produce and ingredients
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Good knowledge of basic food production methods
- Willingness to embrace new ideas, techniques, and processes
- Positive, approachable, and team-focused attitude
To Be Successful, You Will Need:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar fresh‑food environment
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency
- High personal standards of hygiene and professionalism
