Chef Position - Southampton Outskirts
We are currently looking for a talented and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team based on the outskirts of Southampton.
Job Details
- Salary: £29,500 per annum (based on 40 hours per week)
- Overtime: Paid hourly for all hours worked over 40 per week
- Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (including evenings and weekends)
- Accommodation: Live-in available on-site - £380 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with menu standards
- Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen service during busy periods
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Work as part of a team and support colleagues when required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen (pub, restaurant, or hotel)
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible with working hours
- Good team player with a positive attitude
