About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Agency Chef de Partie to support well‑established schools in Brentwood. This role is ideal for a confident chef who is passionate about producing fresh, nutritious meals within a friendly and supportive catering environment.

You'll be working as part of a dedicated kitchen team, preparing high‑quality dishes for students and staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable chef looking for steady daytime shifts and a great work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of fresh meals following set menus and dietary requirements
• Support the Head Chef with daily food production and service
• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
• Assist with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while upholding high culinary standards

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie (school or contract catering experience desirable but not essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene required)
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is essential - or willingness to obtain one
• Positive attitude and a passion for fresh food
