Term Time Only - 40.6 Weeks per Year | Optional Overtime Available

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our catering team at a vibrant education site in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment with a great work-life balance.

📍 Location: Romsey

🕒 Hours: 7 hours per day

📅 Working Pattern:

• Monday - Thursday: 12:00 - 19:00
• Friday: 08:00 - 15:00
• 📆 Contract: Term time only (40.6 weeks per year)
• 💼 Overtime: Optional, available during non-term periods or special events

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals for students and staff
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Supporting menu planning and stock control
• Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver high-quality service

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a chef or cook (ideally in an education or similar setting)
• A passion for food and service
• Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
