Looking for a role with every evening and weekend off?

We are recruiting for a passionate and reliable Chef to join a busy education catering team on the outskirts of Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef seeking a fantastic work-life balance, with a Monday to Friday schedule, evenings and weekends off, and school holiday periods included within a 42-week contract.

The Role

• Preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff
• Assisting with menu planning and food preparation
• Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
• Managing stock rotation and assisting with ordering
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Supporting the wider catering team to deliver an exceptional service

Working Hours

🕒 Monday to Friday

6:30am - 3:00pm

1-hour unpaid lunch break

✅ Every evening off

✅ Every weekend off

✅ Occasional attendance required for open days and special events

What We're Looking For

• Previous chef experience within a busy kitchen environment
• A passion for producing high-quality fresh food
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• A positive attitude and strong team player
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
