Blue Arrow is recruiting experienced Chefs to work within rehabilitation centres, preparing nutritious and high-quality meals for residents, patients, staff, and visitors.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilise culinary skills in a supportive environment, helping individuals on their recovery journey.

  • Your Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking nutritious, well-balanced meals in line with dietary requirements and nutritional guidelines
  • Planning and delivering menus that meet a variety of dietary, cultural, and medical needs
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Ensuring all food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP procedures are followed
  • Managing stock levels, food ordering, and reducing waste wherever possible
  • Monitoring food storage to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Working closely with management and healthcare teams to support residents' dietary needs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
  • Supporting and mentoring kitchen assistants and other catering staff when required
  • Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the catering service
  • What We're Looking For : Previous experience as a Chef within healthcare, care homes, rehabilitation centres, or a similar catering environment
  • A good understanding of specialist diets, allergens, and nutritional requirements
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred)
  • Knowledge of food safety legislation and kitchen compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A reliable, professional, and positive approach to work
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS check may be required for some placements
  • Key Skills : Menu planning and food preparation
