Blue Arrow is recruiting experienced and motivated Chef Managers to work across a range of catering environments, including care homes, schools, nurseries, contract catering sites, and hospitality venues throughout Oxford, Witney, Abingdon, and surrounding areas.

Your Responsibilities

As a Chef Manager, you will:

• Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious, and high-quality meals
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
• Manage stock levels, ordering, rotation, and efficient kitchen organisation
• Lead, motivate, and support kitchen teams within busy catering environments
• Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
• Oversee the efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Support menu planning and ensure meals meet the requirements of each catering setting

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager or senior-level chef within a professional catering environment
• Experience as a Sous Chef, Head Chef, Chef Manager, or similar senior kitchen role
• Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential
• A current DBS certificate would be beneficial for certain assignments, although this is not mandatory
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and support a team
• Access to your own transport would be advantageous due to the variety of client locations
