Chef Manager - DBS Required - Telford & surroun

Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced Chef Managers to work with our client in the Telford and surrounding areas.

Working in an education setting, your main duties will include:

  • Overseeing overall management of catering operations
  • Cooking from fresh following a set weekly menu rota
  • Leading a small kitchen team in delivering a timely service
  • Being aware of allergen and dietary needs
  • Stock ordering
  • Stock takes
  • Accurate recording of daily and weekly paperwork including temperature checks
  • Serving on the counter where necessary
  • Ensuring high standards of kitchen and food hygiene are maintained at all times.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in education/contract catering
  • Knife skills
  • Knowledge of stock takes and ordering
  • Management experience

Qualifications Needed:

  • Food hygiene level 2 or 3
  • Allergens
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
  • Previous experience in catering management preferably in an education setting

Competitive rates of pay paid weekly

Expected start date - early May
