Chef Whitchurch

Location: Whitchurch and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting experienced chefs to work in schools and other catering environments across Whitchurch and the surrounding areas.

These roles are ideal for chefs looking for flexible work, additional shifts, or ongoing opportunities in a variety of kitchen settings. Typical shift times are between 8:00am and 2:00pm, offering a good work-life balance and allowing you to finish early in the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking fresh meals to a high standard
• Supporting kitchen operations and service delivery
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Working effectively as part of a team
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Managing ingredients and stock appropriately
• Remaining organised and efficient during busy service periods

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a chef or catering role
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (within the last 3 years)
• Good knowledge of food safety standards
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach to work
• Own chef whites and knives preferred
