Your Role:
As Head Chef, you'll be responsible for:
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs
- Leading and mentoring kitchen staff
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Managing kitchen budgets and stock control
- Creating seasonal menus that bring joy and comfort
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Knowledge of dietary requirements in care settings (e.g., soft diets, diabetic-friendly meals)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 (or willingness to obtain)
- A caring and compassionate approach to food service
- An Enhanced Adult & Child DBS Certificate dated within the last 2 years or on the Update Service
