Sous Chef - Contract Catering (Sherborne)

£15 per hour * 52‑week contract * Full‑time (40 hrs/week)

We are looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our established Contract Catering team in Sherborne. If you thrive in a fast‑paced kitchen and enjoy working with a strong, supportive brigade, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

About the Role

You will support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality meals for a busy independent school setting. We cater for:

• 600+ lunches daily
• 500 supper meals
• Including 500+ boarding students

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys volume catering while still delivering excellent quality and consistency.

About You

• Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Passionate about food and high‑standard service
• Organised, calm under pressure, and a team player
• Ability to contribute to menu planning and daily operations
