Are you a talented and reliable Chef (DBS cleared) looking for flexible agency work? We are currently recruiting experienced Agency Chefs to support schools, academies, colleges, and other educational settings across the Thurrock area.

Whether you're looking for a few shifts each week or full-time hours, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals
• Managing food production and service during busy periods
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Assisting with menu planning and dietary requirements
• Monitoring stock levels and food storage procedures
• Working independently and as part of a catering team

Requirements:

• Previous chef experience within schools, care homes, contract catering, or hospitality environments
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP procedures
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate required
  • Must be issued within the last 12 months, or
  • Be registered on the DBS Update Service
• Own transport is advantageous due to multiple client locations
