Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced Demi Chef de Partie on behalf of our client in the south Birmingham area.
Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef, your main duties will include:
- Work under the guidance of the chef de partie, helping them manage their assigned station or section of the kitchen.
- Preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables & preparing sauces
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and organised, and following food safety procedures
- Training and mentoring junior chefs or commis chefs.
- Play a role in ensuring the smooth operation of your assigned section and contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key skills and Qualifications
- Food hygiene level 2 or above
- Food allergens
- NVQ Level 1,2,3
- Previous restaurant experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of current food safety regulations,
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self motivated
- Customer service skills.
