We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join a contract catering team based in a central Winchester location. This permanent role offers a fantastic work-life balance, with a supportive team and a well-structured schedule.

Key Information:

Salary: £14.74 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days with alternate weekends
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks per year
Location: Central Winchester - free on-site parking available
Overtime: Paid overtime available
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a friendly and professional catering service within a school environment
Prepare, cook, and present food to agreed standards
Assist with food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Required Skills:

Strong understanding of produce and ingredients
Experience across various kitchen environments and cuisines
Knowledge of food production methods and safety standards
A positive, approachable attitude and willingness to embrace new ideas
To be successful, you'll need:

Previous experience as a Chef in a similar setting
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
High standards of hygiene and food safety
