Are you an experienced Head Chef ready to make a real difference? We're looking for a passionate and organised Head Chef to lead kitchens across contract catering, schools, and care homes in Newcastle and Gateshead.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire kitchen teams to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals
* Design and implement menus tailored to diverse dietary needs
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
* Manage stock, budgets, and kitchen administration
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe kitchen environment
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in contract catering, education, or care settings
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of dietary requirements for children and vulnerable adults
* Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to undergo the check)
* Passion for creating healthy, delicious food
