Head Chef / Kitchen Manager
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 - £36,000 per annum
- Paid in 12 equal monthly instalments
- 5 days out of 7 working pattern
- 35-37.5 hours per week
- December & January off every year - PAID!!!
- 256 hours ADDITIONAL annual leave to use throughout the year
- Opportunity for additional earnings during downtime:
- Work as an Agency Chef with Blue Arrow during the 2-month break
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead a busy and dynamic kitchen operation. You will be responsible for overseeing a team and delivering high-quality food service to guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day kitchen operation
- Deliver a high standard of food quality and presentation
- Produce a menu featuring:
- Fresh, homemade pizzas
- Classic holiday-style dishes
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
- Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Train, motivate, and develop your kitchen team
About the Operation
- Serving up to 120 covers on peak days
- High-volume service environment
- Peak trading days:
- Monday, Friday, and Saturday
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods
- Experience in high-volume kitchens is highly desirable
- Passion for fresh food and consistent quality
