We are recruiting for a passionate and reliable Chef to join the kitchen team at a well-established pub in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking for a great work-life balance, straight shifts, and the chance to work with fresh food in a friendly and supportive environment.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation for guests. The pub serves food between 12pm and 8pm, allowing for sensible working hours and a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking fresh food to a high standard
Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards
Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Assisting with stock control and ordering
Ensuring a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Chef, Chef de Partie or similar role
Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well within a team
A positive and professional attitude
