Are you an experienced chef ready to step into a leadership role? Passionate about fresh, quality food and motivating a kitchen team to deliver at the highest level?
We're looking for a strong, hands-on Sous Chef to join our vibrant, fast‑paced restaurant at Poole Leisure Site. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fresh food menu, support the Head Chef, and help lead a busy, dynamic kitchen operation.

Your Schedule
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Days: 5 days out of 7
- Shifts: A mix of straight and split shifts
- Service: 200+ covers on busy days - fast‑paced and rewarding
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
- Leading services and deputising in the Head Chef's absence
- Preparing and delivering fresh, seasonal dishes to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and allergen compliance
- Training, motivating, and developing junior chefs
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and waste management
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
- Calm and organised under pressure in a high‑volume environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for fresh, high‑quality food
