Are you a passionate and reliable chef looking for flexible work opportunities? We are currently recruiting Agency Nursery Chefs to work across a variety of nursery settings, providing nutritious, balanced meals for children in a safe and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for children.
• Planning menus in line with nursery nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements.
• Managing food allergies, intolerances, and special dietary needs safely.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness.
• Ordering and managing kitchen stock effectively.
• Completing all relevant food safety documentation.
• Working independently or as part of a nursery team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Catering Assistant within a childcare, school, healthcare, or similar environment.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum).
• Knowledge of allergen management and children's nutrition.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach to work.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
