Relief Care Home Chef - Isle of Wight

Pay Rate: £17.00 - £22.00 per hour + holiday pay

About the Role

As a Relief Care Home Chef, you will:

* Prepare and cook nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents, considering dietary requirements and preferences.

* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in line with current regulations.

* Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including stock control and cleaning schedules.

* Work collaboratively with care home staff to ensure residents receive a positive dining experience.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a chef (care home experience desirable).

* Must have: Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 dated within the last 3 years.

* Desirable: Enhanced DBS for Adult Workforce dated within the last 12 months (or willingness topay £57).

* Knowledge of IDDSI guidelines and puree diets (training can be provided).
