About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join the talented kitchen team at our beautiful coastal hotel in Swanage Outskirts. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie looking to take the next step in their career, working with fresh, high-quality ingredients in a professional and supportive kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your designated section and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior chefs within the brigade.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Help manage stock control, stock rotation, and minimise wastage.
• Contribute new ideas and support menu development where appropriate.
• Ensure guests receive an outstanding dining experience through consistently high-quality food.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, ideally ready to step into a Senior CDP role.
• Hotel or high-volume fresh food experience preferred.
• A passion for fresh ingredients and quality cooking.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy service periods.
• Leadership qualities with a willingness to support and develop junior team members.
• A positive attitude and excellent team-working skills.
