We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our team at a busy Contract Catering Site in Yeovil. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role and support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food standards.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay: £15.73 per hour
- 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days
- Flexible shifts with a rolling rota pattern
- Weekend work approximately 1 in 4 weekends
Shift Patterns
- Earlies: 06:00 - 14:00
- Lates: 11:00 - 19:00
- Occasional long days as required
All shifts include weekends on a rolling rota basis.
Your Role
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef background
- Leadership skills and ability to work under pressure
- Passion for delivering great food and service
