Are you a passionate and experienced Sous Chef looking for a rewarding role within a friendly healthcare catering environment?
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team at our Eastleigh healthcare site. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys producing quality home-cooked food while supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy kitchen.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of high-quality, fresh meals.
- Producing nutritious, home-style food for residents and visitors.
- Catering for approximately 20 residents, with additional service provision for a further 15-20 residents.
- Supporting the Head Chef with menu delivery and kitchen operations.
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
- Helping to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a busy catering environment.
- Healthcare or care sector experience is preferred, although candidates from other fast-paced catering backgrounds will be considered.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards.
- A positive and flexible approach to work.
What We Offer
- 40 hours per week
- 4 days out of 7
- Alternate weekends
- Shifts between 7:30am and 5:30pm
- £15.25 per hour
