A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of a well-established and popular pub in the Botley area.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, freshly prepared pub food while helping to lead the kitchen team and maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service.
This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef looking for a stable position within a supportive business, or a strong Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Prepare and deliver quality pub dishes to company standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering and wastage management
- Help train and develop junior chefs
- Ensure food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures are followed
- Maintain consistency during busy service periods

About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie
- Passion for producing quality pub food
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen operations
