We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in the beautiful New Forest. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fresh food environment and wants to progress their career in a luxury setting.
Key Information
- Salary: Up to £34,000 per year
- Hours: 5 days out of 7 (including weekends on rotation)
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
- Location: New Forest
- Accommodation: Live-in available
- Cuisine: Fresh, seasonal dishes
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Contribute to menu development and innovation
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Passion for fresh food and creative cooking
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
