Sous Chef - £35,000-£37,000 + £5,000 Gratuities - Lyndhurst - Temp Live-In (Single Room)

A fantastic privately owned boutique hotel in Lyndhurst is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their team.

The hotel prides itself on producing everything in-house, using locally sourced, freshly picked, and seasonal ingredients. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef looking for a rewarding role with genuine growth and development potential.


Key Information:

  • Salary: £35,000-£37,000 per annum
  • Gratuities: Approx. £5,000 per year
  • Hours: 5 days over 7, approx. 45 hours per week
  • Location: Lyndhurst
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Accommodation: Temporary live-in available (1x single room)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain clean, organised working areas
  • Supervise and motivate the kitchen team when required
  • Adhere to all health & safety and food safety regulations
  • Manage stock levels, portion control, and fresh/dry goods orders

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or quality establishment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
  • Genuine passion for food and quality
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a drive to elevate the operation
