A fantastic privately owned boutique hotel in Lyndhurst is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their team.
The hotel prides itself on producing everything in-house, using locally sourced, freshly picked, and seasonal ingredients. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sous Chef looking for a rewarding role with genuine growth and development potential.
Key Information:
- Salary: £35,000-£37,000 per annum
- Gratuities: Approx. £5,000 per year
- Hours: 5 days over 7, approx. 45 hours per week
- Location: Lyndhurst
- Contract: Permanent
- Accommodation: Temporary live-in available (1x single room)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Maintain clean, organised working areas
- Supervise and motivate the kitchen team when required
- Adhere to all health & safety and food safety regulations
- Manage stock levels, portion control, and fresh/dry goods orders

- Previous experience in a similar role or quality establishment
