We're searching for a skilled and confident Sous Chef to join the senior kitchen team at a modern British fine-dining restaurant, tucked away in the countryside and fuelled by estate-grown, foraged, and locally sourced ingredients.

You'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead a team of around 15, creating seasonal, elegant dishes that showcase the best of British produce - and setting the tone for calm, focused service.

Perfect for an experienced Sous or a strong Senior CDP ready to step up. This kitchen will challenge you, support you, and invest in your growth.

💷 £38,000 per year + generous tronc
📍 Rural countryside location (commutable with a car)
🗓 4 days on, 3 days off

💼 Your Role:
Lead from the front on prep and service, setting the tone for the brigade

Support the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations & cost control

Work closely with FOH to deliver smooth, high-end guest experiences

Ensure consistency, cleanliness, and beautifully plated dishes

Train, mentor, and inspire junior team members

✨ What You Bring:
2+ years as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting

A calm, organised, team-first mindset

Creativity with seasonal menus & sustainable produce

Strong leadership and communication skills

A full UK driving license (rural site - no public transport access)
