📍 Location: Wareham (must drive due to location)

💷 Salary: £17.25 per hour

🕒 Hours: 37.5 hours per week

📆 Shifts: 5 out of 7 days, with every other weekend off!

⏰ Typical Shifts: 6:30am-2:30pm or 11:00am-7:00pm

📄 Contract Type: Permanent

We're recruiting a Sous Chef for a well-established contract catering site just outside Wareham. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role with a global catering provider, offering consistent hours, a supportive team, and a genuine work-life balance.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to high standards
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance
• Assisting with menu development and team training
• Leading the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence

✅ What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a professional kitchen
• Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness certification
• Understanding of health & safety (COSHH) - training can be provided
• A passion for hospitality and delivering great service
• Calm, composed, and a team player in busy environments
• Must have access to transport due to site location
