Support Chef - Whittlebury

Location: Whittlebury, Northampton

Hours: 48 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Split shift (11:00-15:00 / 17:00-21:00), rotating weekends

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Support Chef to join our kitchen team in Whittlebury. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with fresh food, thrives in a busy kitchen environment, and wants to grow their skills alongside an experienced brigade.

What You'll Do

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day‑to‑day kitchen operations
• Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard
• Assist with stock management, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
• Maintain excellent communication during service
• Ensure consistency and quality across all menu items

What We're Looking For

• Previous kitchen experience (commis or CDP level ideal)
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong team player with good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and committed
