📍 The Role
- Location: Southampton, Hampshire
- Contract: Permanent, term‑time only (40 weeks per year)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
- Pay: £14.70 per hour
- No weekends and no evening shifts

🍴 Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in day‑to‑day kitchen operations
- Motivate the team and help maintain high standards
- Ensure food safety, allergen compliance and kitchen hygiene
- Contribute to creative, seasonal menu planning
- Manage mise en place and ensure smooth lunchtime service
- Support with occasional school‑day functions
👤 About You
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in contract catering, ideally in education or B&I environments
- Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking
- Strong attention to detail and food safety standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Positive, flexible and proactive approach
