Location: Magna Park, Milton Keynes MK17

Pay: £13.87 per hour (PAYE)

Shifts and Hours: Saturday & Sunday | 6:00am - 4:00pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

Are you a passionate and reliable Chef looking for a rewarding weekend role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position? We are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy and friendly catering team at Magna Park, Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service while working within a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As Weekend Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and served to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the kitchen team and service staff during busy periods
• Preparing and serving evening meals for up to 70-80 people
• Carrying out food preparation for upcoming shifts
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen hygiene
• Setting up and serving food from the counter
• Stocking fridges, storage areas, and service counters
• Assisting with pot wash and dishwasher duties when required
• Storing food correctly and safely
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
• Ensuring the kitchen remains organised, clean, and fully operational

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

✅ Previous experience working as a Chef or Sous Chef

✅ A genuine passion for food and customer service

✅ Strong organisational and time-management skills

✅ A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable approach to work

✅ Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards

✅ The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

✅ A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
